Fresh Falafel Mix 350g
Contains sesame seeds.
This product is made in a kitchen that processes other products that may contain soy, dairy, wheat, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, peanuts and eggs and may contain traces of all of the above.
Use wet hands to prevent the mix from sticking to your hands.
Form balls. Scoop mix into golf ball sized balls.
Fry. Frying is the traditional way to cook falafels and yields the best result.
Heat oil on medium-high heat (around 190°c)
Carefully drop the falafel in the oil, fry for 3-5 minutes until medium brown on the outside. Avoid over-crowding the falafel; fry them in batches if necessary.
Bake. Preheat oven to 180°c and lightly oil a baking sheet. Give each ball a brush of extra virgin olive oil before baking. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning the falafel balls over halfway through baking.
